Mohammed Ibrahim Al Raeesi A prominent TV presenter with a bachelor degree in communication. He participated in preparing and presenting several news reports and TV programs since the beginning of his media career with Sharjah TV in 2001. Al Raeesi is holding an official positon as a director of the Khatm Melaha Customs Centre.

Bin Hedda is one of the prominent engineering personalities in the emirate of Sharjah and the UAE as a whole. He has made significant contributions to the development of the engineering work system in Sharjah, He also headed the housing section of the Engineering Office of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

About seventeen years of experience in the field of civil engineering, during which we designed, implemented and supervised many engineering projects of various types, residential and industrial, as well as engineering planning for sources, funds and time programs. Juan Roldan's research on public spaces offer a commentary on reappropriating city spaces. Roldan examines both interior and exterior domestic spaces to create new models of social urban relationships, subvert traditional customs and establish mechanisms of exchange between individuals and the city. He seeks to understand how cities are used and appropriated by unsolicited designers and unexpected residents, analyzing the codes, protocols and liturgies that create a citizen's inalienable sense of belonging on inhabited land.

An architectural engineer, holding a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering (with excellent grade) from the American University of Sharjah. During his studies, Ibrahim received the grant of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and got the first place in the Architecture Section of Shaikha Manal Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s Award for Young Artists.

Ibrahim worked for several international offices, including: Ensamble Studio, Madrid; Euler Kolaportev, Los Angeles and Anarchitect, Dubai. He also worked as an architect researcher at the American University of Sharjah, funded by Emaar Properties.

Mekki got the Distinguished Faculty Member Award in the field of services for the academic year 2017-2018, in recognition of her role as a chairperson and member of several social initiatives and committees.

Her interest in sustainability and smart buildings has been rewarded by appointing her to supervise the   international Solar Decathlon Middle East 2018, held by DEWA, where the Ajman University team won two awards in building and energy management categories.

Sahar Najeeb Kharrufa is an experienced Architect, academic, and researcher. As an Architect, he has designed over 250 projects, and as an Academic, he is presently a Professor of Architecture and the Coordinator of the MSc in Urban Design program in the Ajman University's Department of Architecture. He has taught several subjects that include Architectural Design, Sustainability, Urban Design, Graduation projects, and CAAD. In terms of research, Sahar has published 30 papers to date on subjects covering university design, CAD, and green buildings.

He was awarded his PhD from Bath University in the UK in 1985. He then worked as a Research Officer in the Building Research center, Science Research Counsel, Baghdad, Iraq, and then Senior Engineer in Al Fao General Establishment Contracting Company, Baghdad, Iraq, before joining Ajman University in 2007.

Mohsin Balwan has been appointed as the Director of Traffic Engineering Department by the Directorate of Public Works (DPW) of Sharjah since 2009 which became Sharjah RTA in 2014.

He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Sharjah. As a first Emirati, He has completed his Ph.D. in the field of intelligent transportation system from the technical university of Graz in Austria. In his capacity as the Director of the Traffic Department, he manages the road safety, Traffic Planning, and Studies and the Urban Traffic Control System sections of the department. These sections are responsible for the smooth and efficient flow of traffic assuring the utmost safety of all the road users and pedestrians on the road network of Sharjah emirate.

He is a member of the advisory board of the institute of civil engineering in Heriot watt University and Sharjah University.

Dr. Malas has more than 35+ years of experiences that included deep knowledge in Law and Engineering. He has PhD in Engineering Disputes and Bachelor in law beside Master in Doctrine of Law.

He has been invited to speak in many international conferences about arbitration, engineering contracts and real estate disputes, especially in the FIDIC (International Federation for Civil Engineers), DRBF (Dispute Resolution Board Foundation), IDRI (International Dispute Resolution Institute), C5, and many other conferences and training courses. Also he is visiting lecturer in many Universities.

Dr. Malas is accredited in many international arbitration centers, and is accredited as an Engineering Expert in UAE Courts. He has participated in more than 700 cases related to construction and real estate disputes before the UAE Courts, also He participated in more than 80 arbitration cases before the following bodies: UAE courts; Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC); International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Abu Dhabi Commercial Conciliation and Arbitration Center, DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Center. Value of disputes in which Dr. Malas was involved in them are more than USA $ 1.5 Billion.

He is the author of “ The Arbitration Award-Dubai supreme Court Rules” book in two languages (Arabic and English), besides; he wrote many articles about Arbitration and intellectual property of drawings, besides he participated in writing articles in the book “ Construction Law” which is published in Czech Republic, by the Author Dr. Lukas Klee.

In 2014, Dr Malas invented new mechanisms for resolving construction disputes: M-DAB (Modern-Dispute Adjudication Board) that has been presented in the FIDIC conferences beside the scientific day of Ministry of Public Works in Dubai.

Dr. Sabouni is Professor of Structural Engineering, President & CEO of the Emirates College of Technology ECT, and the CEO of Span Management Consulting, Abu Dhabi, UAE

Dr. Sabouni is Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario, Canada, Fellow of the ACI & the Founding President of the ACI-UAE Chapter, Fellow & Chartered Construction Manager of the CIOB in the UK; Fellow of the ASCE the President of the ASCE-UAE Section.

On the Academic side, Professor Sabouni holds a PhD degree from Cornell University and a Masters degree from the George Washington University in civil engineering. He assumed teaching, research, and/or adjunct positions at several universities in the US, Canada and the Middle East. Prof. Sabouni is the first recipient of the George Winter Award, in the USA.

On the Engineering Professional and Entrepreneurial side, he has a diverse background encompassing all facets of engineering management, design, construction, contracts, and quality assurance. During his professional career over the past 35 years in the US, Canada, and the Middle East, he has been actively involved in the civil engineering construction industry and contributed to numerous projects in several countries with some major projects in the UAE, including the prestigious projects of Sheikh Zayed mosque, and the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
